Formed in 2018 in São Paulo - Brazil, the power trio Deadman Dance (Eduardo Geraissate - Violin and Vocals, Rafaela Antonelli - Drums and Henrique Codonho - Bass) uses raw, sometimes aggressive sounds with a highly distorted violin instead of a guitar, the musicians tap into stripping away what is usually expected from a power trio sound, with references influenced by grunge, stoner rock and traditional Brazilian music.
Currently, the band is part of the casting of labels Howlin' Records, Fuzzy Cracklins and Oxenti Records and is planning to release their first EP – Ticking Clocks – produced by Alyson Borges, at Cavalo Estúdio, scheduled to be launched 2nd October.
