ELECTRO GIPSY WAVE
Rich in her dual Gypsy and Caribbean culture, ZINDA REINHARDT gently reigns over a No Man's Land which she turns into a Promised Land, with her thirst for fantasy, awe and encounters. Her musical journey began at the age of 7 at the Conservatory. Classic percussions, lyrical singing, and, of course, Jazz improvisation, honoring the family heritage of the illustrious Django Reinhardt... an appetite and a curiosity that will never leave her. From musicology classes to performing on stage with her musical acolytes, she sings alone, in groups, in duets and creates a musical rainbow-family, as a reflection of her countless sources of inspiration. Passionate about words, their vibration and the comfort they can provide against the misery of a world too hard, too sad, too gray, she first writes poetry in French, before learning the Sintikès language, as an homage to her Eastern European ancestors, which best expresses her spirit of freedom and adventure. Her voice is a winning trifecta: sensual, wild and mischievous.
