Brigitte Blanchard is an artist and mixing engineer currently based in Los Angeles. Coming from a classical violin background, Brigitte discovered and became captivated with recording and mixing music and writing songs that transport listeners through sonic landscapes and imagery. For her artist project, she pulls from a variety of influences, especially folk, pop and electronic music. Each song she makes is crafted with great attention to detail. She is passionate about encouraging more diversity in the audio field and strives to collaborate with and uplift minorities in music and audio. Brigitte works routinely as an audio engineer on other artists’ works and finds this rewarding, as she helps other artists bring their songwriting ideas into a finished product. With her own artist project as well she enjoys being able to shape songs to her vision, along with the input and talents/ideas of collaborators. She enjoys experimenting with and learning about songwriting techniques and is an avid co-writer. One of Brigitte’s goals with songwriting is to create songs that inspire people.
