Folly & The Hunter attempt to explore the bitter sweet; the beauty in
discomfort. The name Folly & The Hunter is tied into the subject matter of
the songs themselves. Most of the songs explore the ever-present absurdity
of searching for a satisfaction that can never be found, and the
foolishness of searching for happiness in all the wrong places. Folly & The
Hunter make music that instils nostalgia and warmth, but at the same time
bestows a haunting sentiment of grief.
