Formed in Jundiaí (SP) and active since 2018, Jupta is a band that combines energy and intensity in a striking sound, mixing the heaviness and strangeness of alternative rock, with influences ranging from Queens of the Stone Age to the theatricality of Secos & Molhados. With two albums released and the third (ULTRA) to be released in July 2025, the group has been building its identity by directly addressing issues such as mental health, social polarization and the experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community.
National recognition came in 2019 with TARJA PRETA, winner of the Hit of the Year award at the Gabriel Thomaz Brazilian Music Award, during the SIM São Paulo program. In 2023, the music video for SUBÚRBIA was part of the Queer View section of the Transforma Música festival, reinforcing the band's engagement with diversity and new narratives.
On stage, Jupta delivers a modern and intense show, combining synthesizers, striking guitars and an expressive visual performance. The band has shared the stage with Supercombo, Autoramas, Far From Alaska, and performed at venues such as Bar Alto, Asteroid, HackTown festival and Sesc Jundiaí.
