Hailing from Bucharest, Romania, Take No More is a dynamic five-piece hardcore band that seamlessly merges diverse musical influences from the urban landscape.
Founded in 2014 by Gheorghe Rares Cristian Juan (known as Desvalido), Mihai Parchisanu, and Malin Neamtu (both from Crossbone), Take No More quickly gained traction. The lineup expanded with the addition of Vlad Andrei (formerly of Key To The Crown) on bass, solidifying their sound as a fierce four-piece hardcore punk ensemble.
Their early repertoire, though not formally recorded, garnered attention through electrifying live performances, some of which are archived on YouTube. Notably, Take No More made a significant mark on the Romanian hardcore scene by opening for renowned acts like Madball, as well as sharing the stage with American bands Bane & Shai Hulud and European hardcore titans Born From Pain.
In February 2015, Take No More released their debut EP, "The Real Deal," delivering an unapologetically raw hardcore sound. Following this, tracks like "Into Despair" and "Pay to Suffer" hinted at a more metallic hardcore direction, drawing inspiration from bands like Kickback, Merauder, and Suburban Scum.
Despite lineup changes, including the departure of original bassist Vlad Andrei, Take No More persevered. Miron Robert, also known as Dante, joined on bass, while Desvalido and Malin Neamtu parted ways with the band in 2017, leading Dante to transition to guitar. The lineup was further solidified with Bogdan Dumitrescu on bass and Mihai "Mișu" on drums.
Following a period of relative quiet, marked by sporadic shows but no new releases, Take No More returned to the spotlight in 2023. Desvalido organized a triumphant reunion gig, celebrating the band's nine-year anniversary alongside local talents such as rap duo $uicidjego$, death metal quartet Rotheads, and EDM trio aim+wall.
Buoyed by this resurgence, Take No More announced their long-awaited comeback with the release of "Reign," their first single in six years. This marks the precursor to their forthcoming album, "A Desperation For Humanity," touted as their most refined and diverse musical offering to date
