Uboa is the project of Australian experimental musician Xandra Metcalfe, whose work traverses the outer limits of heavy and extreme sound. Drawing on elements of harsh noise, dark ambient, glitch, and doom metal, Uboa crafts deeply personal sonic environments that reflect her shifting mental states and lived experiences. The result is music that feels at once confrontational and vulnerable.
