Gabrielle Lazure, born on April 28, 1957, in Philadelphia, USA, was a Canadian singer and actress. She grew up in Montreal and initially pursued studies in psychology before moving to Paris in 1978 to become an actress. Her debut film role came with Alain Robbe-Grillet's La Belle Captive. In 1989, Lazure released her album Out of the Blue, which was followed by a concert tour. She also contributed as an author and interpreter of songs for the film Last Song directed by Dennis Berry.
