SEEKER emerged from two years of intensive, immersive musical exploration inside the legendary studio Sonastério — a monastery-like temple to music, erected in the wilderness of the Brazilian southeastern mountains. This epic surrounding inspired an almost spiritual pursuit for a more organic and eclectic blend of heavy music, an alternative to the dull, ultra processed and down-tuned to oblivion slop that floods the mainstream.
The result is a 9-track tour de force that feels both metamorphic and strangely grounded. Rolling out over 2025, their debut outing pulls from stoner, prog, desert rock, heavy psych, and even old-school thrash — layering it all under stomping Brazilian percussion, fuzzed-out synths and absurdly anthemic, arena-ready melodies.
SEEKER BECOMES SEER is Lucas Brunelli Donnard (vocals), Bruno Martins (production, guitars), Rodrigo Peixoto (guitars), Filipe Marks (bass), and Thiago Caeiro (drums). Supporting performances from Rafael Pensado (drums), Abel Ferreira (percussion), Lucas Demoro (keys and synthesizers), and Gustavo Fofão (acoustic guitars).
