Kikee is a singer, songwriter, producer and teacher living in Rio Grande do Sul - Brazil, with more than 25 years of experience in music. Kikee began releasing her own music in 2018, earning more than 750,000 streams across all platforms, reflecting a growing and engaged fan base.
From 80s disco to pop, from electronic to Latin pop, what matters is expressing emotions with creative freedom. Their songs tell stories of evolution, growth, learning and seek to convey timeless lessons and messages.
In addition to composing, singing and producing, Kikee teaches automation and electronics, having developed projects at the intersection, such as creating electronic synthesizer prototypes.
Born in Lajeado/RS/Brazil, he grew up listening to radios and cassette tapes of Latin rock and gaucho music. He started learning music at the age of 11 with his godmother, who was a piano teacher. At the age of 13, he was already playing keyboards in the Lajeado Orchestra (OCLAJE). He also played guitar in local rock, reggae and MPB bands (LaRoots, X-Positivo, Trio Destila, S&A) until he was 29.
After a period of disconnection, he decided to focus on his own compositions. At the age of 32, he produced the EP Reencontrar (2018) with Gustavo Bassani, with songs created since he was 18, with references to gaucho pop-rock. He then completed his doctorate in engineering, living for a year in York, in the United Kingdom. There, he spent his free time composing songs about evolution. Using the notes from his diary, he composed the songs for the album Transição (2020). The demos were presented to producer Pedro Acker, who co-produced and recorded the vocals at the York University studios. Vai Ser Difícil is a collaboration with his friend and mentor Gustavo Bassani, and Jamais Esquecer is a reinterpretation of LaRoots' music.
Between 2020 and 2023, his work evolved within Latin dance and electronic genres, and some collaborations began to emerge. In 2020, during the pandemic, Kikee produced Lecco's EP Gratidão (2021), singing along on Pela Janela. In 2021, he participated in the production of the single Eu Apenas Soul, in collaboration with Tokyo Beat (Mônica Agena and Fabi Lugli). During this same period, his compositions with Latin and electronic references came to light, such as Ei Saudade, Não Liga Não (feat. Mari Junges) and Casa (feat. Felipe Beleza). In 2022, Sereia and Dancei came out, bringing together references from tropical, urban and reggaeton music. In 2022, he received the "Best Stage Performance and Interpretation" award at Pratas da Casa, a traditional music event in the interior of RS, for his live performance in Liveset format at the event.
Since then, he has been improving his compositions and collaborating with producers from the local electronic scene. In 2023, Entra Nessa Dança (produced by Easy Tag), Do You Wanna Go With Me?, as well as the remix of Do You Wanna Go With Me?, made by MeMachine and released by the label TheWav Records, were released. In 2024, A Little Crazy, a collaboration with Knorst, was released by the label TRM Records, which has already been shaking up the dance floors of the electronic scene in southern Brazil.
The artist's evolution, his identity and vocal and production technique are reflected in the productions released from 2024 onwards. Such a Great Night is the result of passion and deepening of the creative process, as well as the acoustic version.
