Zydepunks, an American folk punk band based in New Orleans, Louisiana, was founded in 2003. The group released their debut album 9th Ward Ramblers in 2004. Their subsequent albums include ...And the Streets Will Flow With Whiskey (2005), Exile Waltz (2007), and Finisterre (2008). Zydepunks performed at events such as the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, and their music was reviewed by publications like Rolling Stone magazine and USA Today. The band's instrumentation included vocals, violins, accordions, bass guitar, and drums. In November 2009, Zydepunks participated in The Revival Tour. As of 2012, the band is on hiatus. Frontman Juan Küffner later formed Hollow Point Stumblers, a Sacramento-based group.
