Matmoti, a German music producer, was searching YouTube for nursery rhymes animated in a design similar to the children's book illustrations he remembered from his own childhood. His goal was to introduce these nursery rhymes to his one-year-old daughter and expose her to a variety of well-established designs within 'pop culture' by watching engaging video clips.
However, he couldn't find any clips that matched his vision. Thus, he came up with the idea of creating his own YouTube channel featuring animations inspired by classic children's book illustrations. His wife lends her voice to the songs, and several illustrators who share his passion for classic children's book illustrations in a modern style join him in creating the clips. We hope you enjoy the style of ItsyBitsyKids too.
