Wer zur Hölle nutzt deezer?
Raised in the western German rural expanse between cornfields and village taverns, Neil Moody has never strayed far from his roots. Embedded deeply within the essence of his music is a desire to convey an experience that transports listeners straight into the dense forests of the Rhineland in Germany, bridging melancholic and satirical lyrics with the rustic simplicity of a hand-rolled Pueblo. "Sad without reason," Neil Moody invites his audience into a world rife with depressive moods, anxiety and a disregard for a society in decay. This sentiment forms the core of his artistic expression. Inspired by artists like Yelawolf, SAINt JHN, Trippie Redd, Casper, Charlie Cunningham or BONES he is blending melodic German Trap with Pop and Emo influences, in a genre he refers to as "Forest Trap".
From the seclusion of his home studio, Neil crafts the majority of his music single-handedly, drawing upon his deep-seated traumas and a long-standing battle with anxiety disorder as the wellspring of his creative output. This personal journey through music began not as a quest for fame, but as a means to process and give voice to his inner turmoil. Each beat, lyric, and melody serves as a testament to his resilience and a step towards healing, making his music not only a personal catharsis but also a universal solace for those who find echoes of their own struggles within his songs.
