Toe to Toe are an Australian hardcore punk band from Sydney that formed in 1992. The ensemble was founded by the vocalist Scott Mac, who is the founder of Resist Records and is the only original member. They are famous for an aggressive musical style and for lyrical content that references boxing terms. The group achieved professional recognition within the Australian hardcore scene and performed at festivals including Livid, Homebake, and the Vans Warped Tours. Their discography includes the single “Slap of Reality” (1992), the EP Unanimous Points Decision (1993), and the studio recordings Threats and Facts (1995) and Tao (1997). The ensemble also released the compilation The Best Defence Is Attack (1996) and the studio recording Arturo Gatti (2010). Their later work includes the live recording Fighting Pride (2001) and the EP Still Fighting (2013).
