Kerosene 454, also known as K454, was a punk rock band from Washington, D.C., formed in 1992 by brothers John and Jim Wall along with Erik Denno. The group went through several drummers before settling on Darren Zentek for their debut LP, Situation At Hand. Kerosene 454 released their first single, "Two For Flinching", in 1993. They continued to tour and record, releasing Came By To Kill Me in 1996 and At Zero in 1998, both under the Slowdime Records label, which John Wall co-ran with Dischord Records. The band also released a compilation album titled Race in 1997 through Polyvinyl. Kerosene 454 disbanded in 1998, following a tour to promote At Zero.
