Payaso x Ley, born Layan José in Havana, Cuba, on January 29, 2000, has emerged as one of the most influential urban artists among young Cubans. Raised in a humble family, he discovered his passion for music early on and worked relentlessly to refine his craft. His signature style blends traditional Cuban sounds with contemporary urban influences, allowing him to connect with a diverse audience both on the island and abroad. Consistently performing at national events, he has gained recognition for his unique voice and songwriting ability. His collaborations with top Cuban and Florida-based artists, including El Taiger, Bebeshito, Alex Duvall, and Yomil, showcase his versatility and ability to innovate within the genre. One of his biggest hits, "El vecino," a collaboration with DJ Unic and El Taiger—often referred to as "El tumbao del vecino" by fans—became a viral sensation, resonating deeply within the Cuban diaspora.
