Gabriel Lang, known professionally as Gabby La La, was born on May 23, 1979, in Petaluma, California. She is a guitarist and multi-instrumentalist who made significant contributions to the experimental music genre. La La began her musical journey with classical training on the sitar, which she often played like an electric guitar. Her debut album, Be Careful What You Wish For..., released in 2005, was a collaboration with Les Claypool and marked her entry into the music scene. In 2011, she released her second album, I Know You Know I Know. Throughout her career, La La became known for her high-pitched vocals and eclectic instrumentation, which included the ukulele, toy piano, theremin, and accordion. She performed with notable artists such as Snoop Dogg on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and was a member of Les Claypool's Fancy Band.
