Yasmin Marcelo is a Filipino-American who grew up in California and is a member of a first generation immigrant family. She has been passionate about music, dancing, writing, and theatre for most of her life. Although her main genres are pop and R&B, she still hopes to be able to pay homage to her roots by fusing the OPM (Original Pilipino Music) sound in her work. Additionally, she would also like to dabble into jazz and soul as those two genres both hold a special place in her heart.
