The Wizards of Winter is an American symphonic rock and holiday music ensemble founded in 2009 by Scott and Sharon Kelly. Originally created to support local charities through Christmas concerts, the group expanded its mission by composing original holiday-themed rock operas. Their debut, Tales Beneath a Northern Star (2011), was followed by a self-titled album (2014), The Magic of Winter (2015), and The Christmas Dream (2019). Known for elaborate seasonal performances, the band has toured extensively while supporting charitable organizations, including the Wounded Warrior Project and Tunnels to Towers. Its lineup has featured several former members of the Trans-Siberian Orchestra, including Guy LeMonnier, Tony Gaynor, and John O. Reilly. In 2023, the group recorded a PBS holiday special, followed by the release of the live double album The Wizards of Winter Live Volume I & Volume II in 2024.
