Project .44 was an industrial rock band from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1998. The band's debut album, Look Me in the Eye, was released in 1999. Their second album, The System Doesn't Work, followed in 2005. Two music videos were filmed for tracks from this album: "Warpath" and "I". In May 2020, a remastered edition of The System Doesn't Work was released by Give/Take Records on translucent red vinyl. Later that year, in December, the label followed up with a remastered version of their debut, Look Me in the Eye. Project .44's third album, (the storm before) reform, was released in December 2021. A music video for "Murder Weapon" was released in March 2022.
