Enders Game, an American heavy metal band from Atlanta, Georgia, was formed in 2001 by guitarists David Merrill and Jarrod Johnson. The original lineup included Kevin Freeman on vocals, Jeff Gardner on drums, and Ben Burch on bass. After a brief stint with the band, Burch left and was replaced by Shon Harp. Their debut EP, Game Over, released in March 2003, featured three songs written by Merrill for his former band, Art of Submission, and "S.K.D. (Systematic Killing of the American Dream)", a collaboration between Merrill and Johnson that became popular. The band's subsequent releases include the EP Breathe New Life in July 2006 and their first full-length album, What We’ve Lost, in May 2010. Notable collaborations on What We’ve Lost include guest guitar solos by Eyal Levi and Emil Werstler of Dååth. Enders Game has also performed with prominent acts such as In Flames, Soilwork, and Chimaira.
