Mary Trembles, an Australian rock band from Brisbane, Queensland, was formed in Los Angeles in 2005 by Damon Cox and Skritch. The group returned to Brisbane and recruited Duey Coert to complete the lineup. Their first track, "Scene from Below", from the 2006 mini-album Ps...situation, gained significant airplay on Triple J and earned them a spot as a Triple J Next Crop artist in November of that year. Matt Tanner later replaced Coert, and the band released their full-length album Borrowed Ears Borrowed Eyes in 2008, recorded by Jeff Lovejoy and mixed by Mike Major.
