Four Bitchin' Babes is an American humorous folk music group founded in 1990 by Christine Lavin. The band initially included Lavin, Sally Fingerett, Patty Larkin, and Megon McDonough, who toured extensively after releasing their first album Buy Me Bring Me Take Me: Don't Mess My Hair!!! on Rounder Records in 1990. Larkin left the group to sign with Windham Hill Records and was replaced by Julie Gold. The band continued touring and released several albums, including Fax It! Charge It! Don't Ask Me What's For Dinner! in 1995, Gabby Road in 1997, Beyond Bitchin' in 2000, and Some Assembly Required in 2002. The group has seen several lineup changes over the years, with Sally Fingerett being the only constant member. As of June 2022, the current lineup includes Christine Lavin, Debi Smith, Deirdre Flint, and Sally Fingerett, who are touring, including a stop at The Birchmere, their "unofficial home base."
