Cosmic Kid

Cosmic Kid is the music alias adopted by Argentine creator Pedro Parnenzini, who first built a large audience online under the name Pedrito VM before shifting his focus toward original music. Born on January 17, 1997, in Villa Maria, Cordoba, he began recording and developing the project privately around 2019, stepping back from his YouTube routine while refining a sound that sat between melodic pop-rap and Argentina’s newer urban wave. Cosmic Kid started releasing official tracks in the early 2020s, with 2022 singles such as “JDM,” “MAREAO,” and “SPACE SEX” establishing his short, hook-first style. In 2023 he expanded his reach with releases including “MI LOCURA EN BUENOS AIRES,” the Knak collaboration “+SINCERO,” and “CONTENT EXPLICIT” with Yesan, showing a more playlist-minded approach and opening the door to wider collaborations. Momentum accelerated in 2024 with singles like “ALGO DENTRO DE MI,” “BRINCANDO,” and the Bhavi team-up “NAMORE,” followed by his debut full-length COSMIC KID (2024), which included fan-favorite cuts such as “2.0” and helped define the project’s compact, internet-native aesthetic. In 2025 he pushed further into the mainstream with new singles including “#SWAGMUSIC” and “THIS IS A BANGER!!!,” released the Bhavi collaboration “WORLDWIDE,” and grew into larger live settings with headline dates in Argentina, later closing the year with the Swagmusic - EP (2025).
