Everything Else are a shoegaze duo from Liverpool making waves with their swirling guitars, hazy atmospheres and instinctive songwriting. Formed by lifelong friends Herbie Whitty and Charlie Holton, the band channels the spirit of classic shoegaze into something raw, fresh, and distinctly their own. Growing up together since the age of six, the pair first bonded over music in their bedrooms, experimenting with pedals, synths and lo-fi recordings. What started as a DIY project has quickly evolved into a fully fledged band, with the pair writing, recording and performing everything themselves. Their sound blends the shimmering textures of Slowdive with the youthful urgency of modern UK shoegaze peers like bdrmm and NewDad, but with an unmistakable edge that comes from their age and perspective. Guitars wash like waves, vocals drift dreamlike, and under it all is a pulse that feels both nostalgic and forward-looking. In August 2025, Everything Else released their debut album, Another One Making Clouds, on Big Potato Records—a record that captured the attention of the shoegaze world and even drew the involvement of Neil Halstead (Slowdive), who mixed their single "Two Monkeys".
