Garth Wynne-Jones, known professionally as DJ Garth, is a British house music DJ and recording artist born in 1967. He moved to San Francisco in 1990 and became integral to the city's dance scene. In 1991, he founded the Wicked Sound System, organizing monthly Full Moon events that boosted underground interest in rave culture. DJ Garth's first significant release was "Twenty Minutes of Disco Glory", a 1996 collaboration with E.T.I., which became popular and featured in the soundtrack for the movie Groove. In 1998, he established Grayhound Recordings, releasing numerous singles and mix CDs, including The Cisco System (2000), Revolutions in Sound (2004), and Unleash the Hound (2006). DJ Garth has remixed tracks for artists such as A Tribe Called Quest. In 2011, he moved to Los Angeles and made his acting debut in the film Speed Dragon.
