The Junipers, a psychedelic pop band from Leicester, England, formed in 2005. Their debut album Cut Your Key was self-produced and released on October 28, 2008, featuring singles "Callooh Callay!" (August 4, 2008), "Gordie Can't Swim" (December 8, 2008), and "So the Feeling Looms"/"Out My Pocket" (August 17, 2009), with "Callooh Callay!" earning them Single of the Week on BBC Radio 2. Following a lineup change, they released their second album, Paint the Ground on February 20, 2012. In November 2013, they put out the EP The Junipers’ Euphonious Trolley – EP1, which received critical acclaim from Shindig! magazine. Their third album Red Bouquet Fair came out on June 30, 2016. The band's fourth album Imaginary Friends was released on September 5, 2024, preceded by the singles "Annie Almond" (July 11, 2024) and "She Looked up at the Stars" (August 1, 2024).
