Hüseyin Selçik, known by his stage name Halvetimeşk, was born on June 24, 1994, in Malatya, Turkey. He discovered rap during his middle school years and began writing lyrics and making amateur recordings at home in 2008. Over the years, Halvetimeşk has released several songs and featured on various rap artists' albums. In 2014, he participated in the charity album Support to Losev, which donated all its proceeds to Losev. His stage name translates to 'understanding loneliness', reflecting his focus on solo projects and themes of personal experience and the harsher realities of life in his music. On February 13, 2016, he released the track 'Zehir' featuring Cash Flow. His discography also includes albums like Hiç and the EP Kayıp, released in 2023.
