Woe of Tyrants, a death metal band from Chillicothe, Ohio, formed in 2004. The group released their debut album, Behold the Lion, through Tribunal Records in 2007. Following this release, they signed a multi-album deal with Metal Blade Records and began work on their first worldwide release, Kingdom of Might, produced by Joey Sturgis and released in January 2009. The band toured extensively in 2009, performing at notable festivals such as the New England Metal and Hardcore Festival and the Rock & Shock Festival. In 2010, Woe of Tyrants released their third album, Threnody, produced by Jamie King, coinciding with Overkill’s 25th Anniversary Tour.
