Adam Said Galore, an Australian indie rock band from Perth, Western Australia, was formed in 1994 with Matt Maguire on drums, Andrew Ryan on guitar and lead vocals, Simon Struthers on bass guitar, and Michael Lake on guitar. Their breakthrough came in 1997 when their song "Balancing on a Pin" won the national Push competition on Recovery, earning them a live appearance on the show and at the Push Over Festival in Melbourne. The band released their debut EP, Domino Comfort, in 1997, reaching Number 1 on the Perth Top 10. In 2001, they released their first full-length album, The Driver Is Red, through Redline Records. Their second studio album, Of Lost Roads, was produced by Struthers and included in Triple J's list of the best albums of 2002. The band has continued to play select shows over the years, with members pursuing various side projects and receiving multiple WAMi Award nominations and wins.
