Annex5 was a German punk rock band formed in Hannover in 2003. The group included frontwoman Kirsten from Canada, bassist Nico and guitarist Till from Overnight Sensation, and drummer Björn from Recharge and Audio Kollaps. Annex5's musical roots lay in punk 'n' roll. In 2004, the band released their first recording, the MCD Out in the Cold. Their debut album, Demons, was released on Nasty Vinyl in 2005, featuring eleven songs and two music videos shot in Greece and Canada. In 2006, Annex5 recorded their second album, Sex Rag, at Rekorder Studio Hamburg with producer Gregor Hennig. The album was released in 2006 by Sunny Bastards and Halb 7 Records, followed by a Germany tour with Verlorene Jungs and Warfare.
