From fingerpicking wizardry to soulful jazz and blues, Sašo Zver has mastered the guitar in a way that only a select few ever have. The Slovenian native has travelled the world perfecting his craft, following in the footsteps of legends like Tommy Emmanuel and Chet Atkins while soaking up diverse music styles like a sponge to give him a unique voice all his own.
Born in 1978, Sašo took to the guitar naturally as a child. His talents would soon lead him to the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, where he was instructed by some of the greatest guitarists in the world, studying everything from the mysterious rural style of bluesman Robert Johnson to the soaring sonic explorations of Pat Metheny. Thanks to his undeniable abilities, Sašo became a featured performer at the Chet Atkins Appreciation Society and had several of his compositions selected for honors by his fellow students.
Since graduating, Sašo has been a major presence on both the American and European music scenes, performing at world class venues in Nashville and releasing several acclaimed records. He has recently founded Global Guitar Lessons where he shares his wisdom and abilities with aspiring musicians around the world in one on one lessons. Despite his previous successes, Sašo is never satisfied and is constantly looking for new ways to grow as a musician and person.
