Rising to prominence as the lead vocalist of La Arrolladora Banda El Limón, he spent 14 successful years with the iconic group, recording hits on albums such as Más arrolladora que nunca and Gracias por creer. In 2021, Josi Cuen launched his solo career, debuting with the heartfelt single “Y que te critiquen,” marking a fresh chapter in his musical journey. His EP Querer es poder, released later that year, showcased his versatility with tracks like “Amigos con beneficios” and “Lo que me pidas jalo.” In 2022, Josi Cuen released his debut solo album, Ya estuvo suave, featuring standout songs like “La última batalla” and “Como se antoje,” solidifying his place as a leading voice in the genre. With collaborations alongside figures like Espinoza Paz and Edén Muñoz and continued exploration of his musical roots, Josi Cuen has established himself as a prominent artist shaping the future of Regional Mexican music.
