Anchen Ji is a local singer from Boston area, a scientist, and the mother of a lovely kid, who got into music later in her life. She experienced great changes in her life in the recent years, got a new job, got divorced, and got a hope. She’s found her own life; she’s telling her own story. Her self-release debut single STARS marks a milestone victory for the artist – Her new life begins.
Transitioning from hobby to a professional artist, Anchen studied vocal courses from Berklee online in recent years and learned to become the author of her own life’s story.
Produced by talented Berklee alumni, Chengcheng (Troy) Tang, composed by another talented Berklee alumni, Tyller Bolton, together with Troy and her, the first single STARS anchors a heart-touching pop voice in giving hope to listeners by a love story. Surrounded by guitar and drum, her vocals are front and center, not obscured or cushioned by anything else. STARS tells a romantic story of hope between two separated lovers. No matter what obstacles and difficulties they will face, they will be together.
STARS will be released independently on Anchen’s own imprint Anchen Entertainment LLC. The single and music video will be sold direct-to-fan via her website, Bandcamp, and all major music services. An exclusive pre-order will take place and will include digital download, e-poster, e-music score, physical CD single, t-shirt, and limited-edition merchandise.
