Settle the Sky are an American metalcore band from Fremont, Ohio, formed in 2005. The group recorded with producer Joey Sturgis in 2007 and released their debut EP, Now That We’re Waiting, on October 28, 2008, via StandBy Records. During this period, the band toured with acts including Vanna, The Crimson Armada, and I Am Abomination. Settle the Sky became inactive in 2010, with members subsequently performing with groups such as Before Their Eyes, Blessthefall, and Convictions. The band returned in 2016 and released the single "A New Way" in June 2017. Despite an announced intention to retire the moniker, the group resumed activity in 2020. They returned to the studio to record the single "Year of Ruin", followed by an EP of the same name and the single "Linger" in December 2020.
