WYDE is a Swiss music producer and DJ from Zurich. He unleashed his debut album in February 2023. The music lives from its deep, bass-heavy, and melancholic sound, which is often accompanied by female singers. This fusion is contrasted by wide-ranging, atmospheric synth sounds, opening up whole musical landscapes. WYDE loves the creative exchange of ideas. He regularly collaborates with other producers and artists and includes them in his work.
As DJ Hide, he spun jungle and drum & bass from 1998 and was a member of the Jungle Raiders crew and drumandbass.ch. He is known for his party series DEZIBEL in Lucerne and is one-third of Lost Sequence. The producer collective released on labels such as DSCI4, Basswerk, Fokuz, and Flight Recordings. They have performed in various clubs in and around Switzerland, including Rohstofflager Zurich, Reithalle Bern, Case à Chocs Neuchâtel, L'Usine Geneve, Hive Zurich, Schüür Lucerne, and the renowned Sun and Bass Festival in Sardinia.
