Robin Beanland, born on August 27, 1968 in Leeds, is a British composer known for his work in video game music. Before focusing on video games, Beanland composed music for television and films. His breakthrough came with Donkey Kong Country (1994), where he collaborated with Eveline Fischer and David Wise. Beanland's notable works include the soundtracks for Killer Instinct (1995) and Conker's Bad Fur Day (2001). For the latter, he co-wrote the script with Chris Seavor. In 2001, Beanland won a British Academy of Film and Television Arts award for his work on Conker's Bad Fur Day. His contributions continued with projects like Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts (2008) and the soundtrack for Sea of Thieves (2018).
