Born in the refugee camp of Kakuma, Kenya, Emanali's early life was marked by challenges and displacement. Yet, amid adversity, he discovered solace in music, drawing inspiration from the rich tapestry of East African sounds. In 2018, at just fifteen years old, Emanali launched his career with the EP "Only 15." This debut project quickly garnered local acclaim, leading to opportunities to open for renowned artists like Nelly, T-Pain, Dave East, and Roy Woods. These experiences paved the way for notable music award nominations, including SMA’s R&B Artist of the Year in 2022 and Afrobeat Artist of the Year in 2023.
