Nokturnl is an Australian rap metal band formed in 1996 in Alice Springs, Northern Territory. In December 1999, Nokturnl signed with Sputnik Records, an offshoot of Festival Mushroom Records and released the singles "Neva Mend" (2000) and "Unveiled" (2000). Their debut album Time Flies was released in July 2003. Nokturnl notably won Band of the Year at The Deadlys in 1998, 2000, and 2003. They toured extensively, performing in Europe, Brazil, and Australia, and supporting acts like Spiderbait, Powderfinger, and Regurgitator. The band's music has also been featured in films such as Radiance, Yolngu Boy, and Saturday Night, Sunday Morning.
