Delphine is a French singer, songwriter and record producer. She grew up in a family of self-made musicians. Her Grand-Father played violin and her grand-mother used to sing each and every day.
Delphine loved music and singing from her early childhood, getting involved in different types of art by taking dance and acting classes.
At the age of 10, supported by her hometown, she took part in a recording single, highlighting the human rights and the children's rights.
She felt that music gave her a special power and inspiration, but she also knew that it wouldn't be easy to develop a career because of her shyness.
She began a classical singing training, and graduated each cycle with honors.
She won many awards in song contests.
In order to round out her training, she joined a couple of different live bands and sang different styles of music such as soul, pop, blues and reggae music. She loves Hip Hop and R&B music too.
Delphine had her first writing inspiration by reggae music.
Her lyrical content has included themes of love, happiness but also struggles of life and how to find a place in the world as a woman. Putting above all the richness of human diversity, its cultures and values.
She loved travelling and gets lots of inspiration during her bag packer trips in Africa, Asia and America.
Being in control with her image and the messages she wanted to spread to the world, that's what she does with her self-produced debut album.
She released the ''Blue Soul'' album with her own label ''BS World'' in 2017, digital distributed by the legendary Tuff Gong International and physical by Inouïe distribution.
She works in France and Jamaica. « I love to work in Jamaica because people are very respectful and dedicated to the music I do. » [Delphine]
After live shows and promotions in France (Le Gueulard Plus, Sun Ska Festival, Cultura Music festival, Sunshine Reggae Festival), Jamaica (Bob Marley's 73rd / 75th Birthday Celebration, The Golden Jubilee 12 Tribes of Israel, Dennis Brown tribute), and the USA (Hot105FM Miami, KXLU FM Los Angeles, IRIE MAG San Fransisco), she began working on her second album.
In early 2020 she went to Jamaica to record her new songs from the future album. She always keeps around her this team wich has been working from the start. The recordings, writings, compositions, visuals will only be more productive and sincere. And the circle is growing, even more musicians as well as producers work with her, and the results are amazing !
« Strong bonds are forged with each person we meet and each moment of sharing. Beyond profession, we live very emotional moments. It is certain that it will show even more in the music we make. » [Delphine]
