Wildlife Control, an American indie rock band, was formed in 2011 by brothers Neil Shah and Sumul Shah, and originated from Brooklyn, New York, and San Francisco, California. Their initial breakthrough came with the release of their debut single "Analog or Digital" in December 2011, which featured an interactive video. The official music video for "Analog or Digital" was released on a video streaming platform in February 2012 and went viral. This success propelled their EP Spin (2012) to Number 1 on the Hot New Releases sales chart in the alternative pop category. Their self-titled debut album, released on July 31, 2012, received favorable reviews and peaked at number 48 on the CMJ Radio 200 chart. In April 2016, they released their second album Particles. The band was recognized by Ranker in their list of famous bands from the San Francisco Bay Area in 2019.
