Willard Grant Conspiracy was an American musical group formed in Boston, Massachusetts, around singer and songwriter Robert Neil Fisher. Born on September 9, 1957, Fisher began his music career in Portland, Maine, with guitarist Paul Austin. The duo moved to Boston in the mid-1980s and became a sought-after act in the local independent scene. In late 1995, they formed Willard Grant Conspiracy after an impromptu recording session at Dana Hollowell's home studio. Their debut album, 3 am Sunday @ Fortune Otto’s, was released on Fisher's own label Dahlia Records and later licensed by Glitterhouse Records for Europe. The band signed with Slow River Recordings in the United States and released several albums, including Flying Low and Mojave.
