Silent Drive, a post-hardcore group from Worcester, Massachusetts, was formed in 2003 by members of Ink Cartridge Funeral, Bane, Dasai, and Drowningman. The band signed with Equal Vision Records and embarked on international tours across the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Europe, and Canada before and after releasing their debut album Love is Worth It in 2004. In February 2007, they announced plans to record a new album for June but faced delays. The band posted a demo titled "Mexican Standoff" on Myspace in September 2007, which was intended for their follow-up album to Love is Worth It, however, this album never materialized. In July 2008, Silent Drive announced their departure from Equal Vision Records. After nearly ten years of absence, the band returned to the stage on December 17, 2016, performing at Ralph’s Diner in Worcester and playing Love is Worth It in its entirety. In 2022, the band released their second album, Fairhaven.
