Irene Brügger (born November 11, 1979), known professionally as Frölein Da Capo, is a Swiss musician, cabaret artist, and columnist from Willisau. Born Irene Hodel, Brügger worked as a merchant before performing in local rock groups and theater. In May 2007, Brügger debuted as a solo artist and won the Chlaine Prix Walo (Comedy) that year. Brügger performed as a "one-woman orchestra," playing guitar, euphonium, piano, and trumpet while using a loop device. Her recording career featured the albums Frölein Da Capo und Bänd (2010) and Gemischtes Plättli (2012). Brügger received the Swiss Comedy Award (Solo) in 2019 for the program Kämmerlimusik. In 2022, she won the award again in the Ensemble category with the Secondhandorchestra. Brügger appeared on the television program Giacobbo/Müller (2010–2012) and acted in the film Der Sandmann (2009). She authored the books Episödali (2015) and Singlesocken (2022).
