David Ari Leon (born December 12, 1967) is an American television, film, and video game music supervisor, composer, and songwriter from Los Angeles, California. He earned a B.A. from UCLA in 1990, focusing on piano performance and film scoring. Leon received his first film credit on Nightbreed in 1990 while interning for Danny Elfman. He subsequently worked on Days of Our Lives, earning an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Music Direction. Between 1997 and 2002, Leon served as vice president of music for Fox. He composed and supervised music for Marvel Entertainment series including Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk. In 2021, NASA commissioned him as music supervisor for the video 29 Days on the Edge. His arrangements appeared on NPR and the album Rockabye Baby! Baby's Favorite Rock Songs, which reached number 3 on the Billboard Kids Albums chart. This collection featured his production of the song “Ruby Tuesday”.
