With his unique voice, Bart Van Leuven creates an intimate and sincere atmosphere in his indie solo project, BARRU. After years of playing in a band called Humble Flirt as a singing drummer and achieving some modest successes such as reaching the final of Humo's Rock Rally, he found a new outlet in writing his own music. Starting from a few guitar chords, he creates personal songs with a touch of duality where the vocal line is central. This resulted in a first EP "I'm(Not) The One" produced by Xavier Declercq (Transistorcake, Noemie Wolfs, Pascal Deweze, Lagüna, Sleepers' Reign).
