Autoaggression, a German electronic music project founded by Lukas Schneider in 2002, contributed to compilations such as "3,14" on the Septic Compilation. The project's debut album, Geräuschinformatik, released in March 2005 under Dependent Records, blended industrial, ambient, and noise elements. The album was reviewed by publications such as Orkus and Zillo, with the latter naming Autoaggression "Newcomer of the Month." In February 2007, Autoaggression released their second album, Artefacts, featuring guest vocals from Eskil Simonsson of Covenant. This album debuted at number 6 on the German Alternative Charts and was followed by performances at events like the Reflection: Dark Festival in Essen. The project's discography also includes the Black EP (2008).
