Carving out her own space in the pop landscape, Lois has quickly established herself as an important rising voice amongst the next wave of Northern artists. Navigating topics ranging from grief and trauma to self-exploration and identity through her rule-bending alt-pop cuts, the Leeds-based songwriter has established a lyrical eye for the experiences that often go unspoken.
Having launched onto the scene with her 2023 debut EP ‘Strange Men’, Lois’ rule-bending alt-pop cuts have gone on to connect with a global audience. With support slots alongside The Lottery Winners, Etta Marcus, and SOFY, a sold-out show at Hyde Park Book Club, and slots at Live At Leeds, Kendal Calling, Liverpool Sound City, and more, she’s already captivated audiences across the UK.
Now returning with her sophomore EP, ‘SEVEN’, Lois is embracing the chaos, power, and euphoria of self-discovery as an independent artist. With support from the likes of BBC Radio 1, 6 Music, BBC Introducing, DIY Magazine, The Line of Best Fit, Notion, Spotify’s Fresh Finds and more, the multi-hyphenate has already built notable momentum. And with a series of live shows ahead, Lois is fast securing herself as one to watch.
