All We Leave Behind was born in 2018 in Grenoble, led by two experienced musicians: POG on guitars and growls, and Olaf on drums. The band quickly expanded with the addition of Hell D as a second guitarist, followed by S.CRUMB in 2021, a well-known bassist from the local metal scene. To bring more melody, Tony, POG’s son, first joined on keyboards before becoming the drummer in 2022, following Olaf’s departure.
All We Leave Behind draws from Doom, Goth, and Death Metal influences, following in the footsteps of iconic bands such as Black Sabbath, Paradise Lost, My Dying Bride, Type O Negative, and Candlemass. Through their music, the band conveys an uncompromising and clear-eyed vision of society, addressing profound themes such as ecology, religion, and the fragility of the human condition. Driven by heavy, slow riffs, haunting piano melodies, and technical bass and drum rhythms, All We Leave Behind’s sound is both harmonic, melodic, and intensely powerful. With a strong sonic identity and a confident artistic direction, All We Leave Behind offers an immersive and striking musical experience that blends raw emotion with dark beauty.
