David Geraghty, born on September 30, 1975 in Ireland, is a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter. He began his music career as part of the group Juniper in 1994, alongside Paul Noonan, Damien Rice, Dominic Phillips, and Brian Crosby. After Damien Rice left to pursue a solo career in 1998, Geraghty continued with the remaining members who reformed as Bell X1. In 2007, while still part of Bell X1, Geraghty released his debut solo album Kill Your Darlings, which earned him nominations for the Choice Music Prize and two Meteor awards (Best Album and Best Male). His second solo album, The Victory Dance, was released in 2009. Under the moniker Join Me in the Pines, Geraghty released the albums INHERIT in 2014 and MONOMANIA in 2019.
